Frank E. Bechtel, age 94, of Hamburg, peacefully passed away on Friday,

October 3, 2014.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mildred M. (Shimsky) Bechtel. Two

daughters, Marlene wife of Steven Skoloda of Hamburg and Patricia wife of

Ruben Ortiz of Guaynabo, PR , four grandchildren, Steven, Sarah, Kimberly

and Kristina, one nephew, Joseph Bechtel, of Slatington and two nieces Mary

Jean and Eleanor Earley of Coaldale. . He is preceded in death by his

sister, Margaret Mary Earley, brother Leonard Bechtel and nephew, John

Earley.

Frank was born in Coaldale, PA.

Graduated from the former St. Mary's High School (1938), Coaldale and resided in Levittown, PA for 57 years and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel R. C. Church before moving to Hamburg.

Frank was employed for 28 years at U.S. Steel.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Fallsington Chapter of

the American Legion.

Services will be held at St Mary R.C. Church 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg PA,

Tuesday, October 7, 2014.

Friends and Family may call at the church at 9 A.M. Mass of Christian burial

will follow at 10 A.M.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial, Tamaqua, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family on behalf of the Holy

Family Adult Day Care Center, Orwigsburg, PA.
