Mary (Ginda) Rutch
Mary G. Rutch, 79, of Coplay, formerly of Summit Hill, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at her residence. She was the wife of John F. "Skeeter" Rutch Jr. They had celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this past July 14.
Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy (Shubeck) Ginda.
Mary was a graduate of the former Coaldale High School, Class of 1953, having been a cheerleader.
She worked in the local garment industry and was a homemaker.
Mary was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Summit Hill having been a member of the Women's Guild and choir. She was a member of the Red Hatters.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Nancy Kunzweiler of Coplay and Maria Szczecina, and her husband Jeff, of Summit Hill; two sons, John Rutch, and his wife Donna, of Coppell, TX, and Greg Rutch, and his fiancée Lisa Hukill, of Dallas, TX; a brother, Paul Ginda, and his wife Rose, of Kokomo, IN; a sister, Helen Powell of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Brad Kunzweiler, and his fiancée Kerry Gritzner, Jake Szczecina, Aaron Rutch, Tara Pickard, and John Peter Rutch; great-grandchildren, Will Pickard, Ethan Pickard and Joshua Pickard; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Peter, Harry, Michael, and John.
Service: Funeral service is on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. from the Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, White Bear, Summit Hill. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
