In Memory of Alfred Bolinsky

Obituary: CHS Alumni Class of 1947

Alfred Bolinsky, 88, of West Phillips Street, Coaldale, passed away on Monday, May 1, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center in Coaldale.

Born Friday, April 5, 1929, in Coaldale, the son of the late Raymond and Constance (Norkunski) Bolinsky. Alfred was also predeceased by his wife Marion (Desch) Bolinsky; son, Keith Bolinsky; sisters, Mrs. Constance Nothstein, and Mrs. Joan Bobarsky.

Surviving is his son, Kenneth R. Bolinsky of Brookhaven, MS.

A 1947 Coaldale High School graduate, Al matriculated to Kutztown Teachers College, earning his degree in education and obtained his master's degree and principal certification from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Al was school principal for Penn Ridge School District of Bucks County for more than 35 years.

A member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua, where he was active in the choir, Al enjoyed hunting and boating. He was also a member of the Coaldale Lions Club.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 5, in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 307 Pine St., Tamaqua .

No morning calling. A private interment in the parish cemetery of Owl Creek.
