Peter P. Wyshosky, 96, of Nesquehoning, formerly of Coaldale and Tamaqua, died Thursday in Coaldale.
Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a renovation designer for commercial buildings.
Born in New York City, N.Y., he was a son of the late Peter and Mary (Kobani) Wyshosky.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the U. S. Army as a first lieutenant.
He was a member of St. Mary Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale.
The 1936 graduate of the former Coaldale High School was a member of the Russian Orthodox Cathedral Choir in New York City and toured with the Don Cossak Chorus as it performed throughout the United States.
The last immediate member of his family, he was also preceded in death by five sisters, Pauline Shubeck, Helen Widding, Anne Danatsky, Mary Biank and Sonya Maher.
