Jenkin Jones Jr., 88, of Pottsville, died Monday, June 27. He was the husband of Kathryn Mae (Heffelfinger) Jones.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Jenkin and Elizabeth Jones.

A graduate of the former Coaldale High School, he was a Navy veteran.

Among his other survivors are a son, Robert J., and his wife, Michele; a sister, Gwen Jones; two brothers-in-law, Bill Heffelfinger of Nesquehoning and Ben Heffelfinger, and his wife, Mabel; and two granddaughters.
