Mrs. Victoria (Konski) Demyanovich, 86, of West Broad Street, Tamaqua, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, in Hometown. She was the widow of Nicholas Demyanovich, who died in March, 2008. She was a self-employed beautician with a shop in Tamaqua. She was also a beautician and instructor at the Beautician and Barber School. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie (Gural) Konski. She was a graduate of the former Coaldale High School. Surviving are a son Damian in Delaware; three sisters, Mary Mellay of Hometown, Rose Daniels of Nesquehoning and Valerie , wife of Joseph Lopez of Tamaqua; a brother, Stanley Konski in Florida; and two grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Demyanovich. Services: Interment to be announced at a later date. Arrangements by August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale.
