Anthony Tony Lack, Jr., 86, of Danielsville, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy D. (Zelnik) Lack. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary last June. Born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Anthony, Sr., and Mary (Casari) Lack. Mr. Lack was a member of Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Berlinsville. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in World War II. Mr. Lack was a self employed machinist, having owned and operated L & M Machine Shop, Bath, for 12 years, until his retirement in 1981. Prior to that, he worked in the machine shop at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, Bethlehem, for 12 years. Mr. Lack was a former member of the Nazareth Kiwanis Club. Survivors: Wife; daughters; Sandra L. (Lack), wife of Lawrence Smith, Austin, TX, Lori Ann (Lack) Roth, Anchorage, AK; sons, Bruce A. Lack, Danielsville, John J. Lack, Walnutport, David M., husband of Deb Lack, Klecknersville; brother, Robert Lack, Hendersonville, NC. Other survivors include nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Louise Lack. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 7, 2014, at 12 noon from Saint Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 4412 Mountain View Drive, Walnutport, with Reverend Monsignor Thomas A. Derzack and Reverend Monsignor Francis P. Schoenauer officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Military honors, provided by Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington, will be rendered following the mass. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon in the church.
