Mrs. Martha A. Zeigler

Mrs. Martha Anne (Kolher) Zeigler, 90, of 229 E. Lehigh St., Summit Hill, formerly of Lake Hauto, died Thursday (February 19) in her home. She was the widow of Daniel Zeigler, who died in 1995.

Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a secretary at the former Coaldale State General Hospital.

Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Bitsko) Kohler.

A member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tamaqua, she was a 1936 graduate of the former Coaldale High School.

Surviving are two daughter, Georgine Novitsky of Lansford and Gerry Zeigler of Summit Hill; a son. Atty. Daniel F. Zeigler and his wife, Louise, of Coaldale; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services: Funeral services 11 a.m., Tuesday, Zion Lutheran Church, Tamaqua, with the Rev. Debra Ernst officiating. Interment, Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
