CORDERY,(Skymba) Rose 80, of Seffner, died Dec. 27, 2013. Daughter of the late Frank Skymba and Mary Grabin, she was a native of Coaldale, PA, before moving to Edison, NJ, for many years and finally to the Brandon/ Seffner area in 1981. Before retiring, Mrs. Cordery was a waitress before going to school and becoming a medical secretary. Rose loved cooking, spoiling her many pets including her beloved dogs, DeeDee, Holly and cat, Misty, playing bingo, crocheting, and mostly being with her many friends conversing and having fun. Rose was also preceded in death by husband, James A Cordery of Point Pleasant, NJ; sister, Olga (Jean) Annis; and brothers, John, Frank, Stephen and Mike Skymba. Survivors include her son, James J. Cordery of Brandon; brothers, Samuel Wash, and Joe Skymba; sister-in-law, Marge Skymba; niece, Georgianne and husband, Peter Ciraola; many cousins, nephews and nieces living throughout the country; and dear friends, Susan and Mark Scaglione, Joanne Ashbaugh, Shirley Branam, Nadja and Jim Milizia ,Ellaine Wooley, Johanna Ridley and Sophia Colon, and many more. A graveside service will be held 1 pm Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Humane Society of Tampa.
