Mary A. (Horotak) Blasco

Mrs. Mary A. Blasco, 93, of 409 E. Ridge Street, Coaldale, died Friday, Dec. 17, in the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. She was the widow of Joseph V. Blasco.

She worked for several local garment factories and did hospital kitchen work.

Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Sr. and Elizabeth Horotak.

She was a member of the former SS. Cyril & Methodist Catholic Church, Coaldale, and was a current member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford.

Surviving are a son Robert in Florida; a daughter, Loretta Andrew of Las Vegas, Nev.; a grandson, Philip Yelito, with whom she resided; and four grandchildren

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Andrew J.; and two sisters, Ann George and Magdalene Oslak.

Service: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford. Interment, SS. Cyril & Methodist Cemetery, Nesquehoning.
