James A. Mock
James A. Mock, 64, of Pine Hill Rd., West Penn Township, died Sunday in his residence. He was the husband of Allyn P. (Smith) Mock. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a production supervisor for Newell/Rubber Maid, Pottsville. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Navy. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of Olga (Yarosky) Mock of Nesquehoning and the late Calvin Mock. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Tamaqua. He was a 1963 graduate of the former Coaldale High School. He was an avid bowler, a member of the Monday Night League at Spare Time Bowling, Hometown. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are two sons, James Allen Mock and his wife, Tiffany Riddle of Portlans, OR, and Jason D. Mock and his wife, Julie, of Bethlehem; and four grandchildren, Alexander James Mock, Nicholas James Mock, Alexander Stephen Mock and Natalia Grace Mock. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Calvin S. Mock; and a sister, Louise Ann Mock. Services: 11 a.m., Thursday, Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, with the Rev.
