Mildred K. (Lutchkus) Busavage
Mildred K. Busavage, 86, formerly of Tamaqua and Coaldale, died Friday in Allentown. She was the widow of Vincent Busavage, who died in 1962. Prior to retiring in 1984, she had been employed in the dietary department of the former Coaldale State General Hospital. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Martin and Adele (Jenkeliunas) Lutchkus. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua, and was a 1942 graduate of the former Coaldale High School. Surviving are a son, Vincent and his wife, Phyllis, of Northampton; a granddaughter, Kimberly, wife of Sean Penn of Santa Rosa, Cal.; two great grandchildren, Mason and Isabella Penn; and a brother, George Lutchkus of Coaldale. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Anna; and two brothers, William and Joseph. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua, with the Rev. William Linkchorst officiating. Interment, parish cemetery. Call Wednesday, 10-11 a.m., Contributions in her name may be made to the church.
