John Tonkin

John Tonkin, 66, of Coaldale, died Thursday in (December 11) the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale.

The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, is in charge of the arrangements.

He did not graduate from CHS, but he was in the class of 1961 in his sophomore or junior year. He played football, probably in '58 and '59. Also, at one time, he was Chief of Police of Coaldale.
