Edward D. "Ted" Pascoe, 86, of East Brunswick, N.J., formerly of Coaldale, died Friday in Old Bridge, N.J. He was the husband of Margaret (Jubik) Pascoe. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Edward and Maggie (Moran) Pascoe. A veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy in the European Theater of Operations. Prior to retiring, he had been employed by Somerset Technologies in Somerset, N.J. Previously, he had been employed at the No. 8 Mine for LC and N Company, Coaldale, and by Phelps Dodge in Cranbury. N.J. He was a member of First Congregational Church, Coaldale. A 1942 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, he was a member of the Coaldale American Legion. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Louise Sapirstein of Holland; a son, David Pascoe of Dayton, N.J.; two grandchildren, Alyson and David Sapirstein; a sister, Mildred, wife of William Gaddes of Lake Hauto; a sister in law, Helen Jubik of Allentown; numerous nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Benack officiating. Interment, Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown.
