Anna Mae Chromiak Anna Mae "Sissy" Chromiak, 80, of Fourth Street, Coaldale, died Saturday in Lehighton. She was the widow of Stephen Chromiak, who died in 1984. Prior to retiring, she had been employed on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. Previously, she had been employed at the Daughters of Charity Hospital in Washington and the former Coaldale State General Hospital. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late, Franklin and Anna (depuy) Young. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, and graduated from the former Coaldale High School in 1946. Surviving are a son, Stephen Blaise Chromiak and his wife, Marjorie, of Mobil, AL; a daughter, Mary Beth Malcolm of Coaldale; one grandson, Derrick Chromiak; and a great granddaughter, Destiney Chromiak. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Zucco. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Thursday, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Nesquehoning, with the Rev.
