Pauline Maholick, 89, of East Street, Coaldale, died peacefully on Friday at her residence.
Pauline was last employed at the former Coaldale State General Hospital, where she worked in the food service department.
Prior to that she had been employed in the garment industry at the Van Heusen Company in Coaldale and at various other factories in the Panther Valley.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Dimitri and Efrosia (Prokopchak) Maholick.
She graduated from the former Coaldale High School in 1946 and was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale.
Survivors include a brother, Nicholas Maholick; and several nieces and nephews including Ronald Gurka of Arlington, VA, Nancy Crabtree of Kansas City, MO, Paula Solsberg of Blue Springs, MO, and David Kruczek of Barnegat, NJ.
She was also predeceased by brothers Michael, Alex, John, Peter, Anthony and Joseph; and sisters Helen, Mary Horoshak, Anna (Kruczek) Gurka, Olga Dubiel and Alice (Antonia) Gurka.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale, with the Very Rev. James P. Weremedic officiating.
Interment, parish cemetery, Summit Hill.
Call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, or 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, in the church.
Parastas, 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
