AGE: 86 • Manville

Rosemarie E. Lazar, 86 passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2017 at The Gardens at Easton in Easton, Pennsylvania. She was born in Coaldale, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Lazar was a resident of Manville, NJ for the past 61 years. She worked at Union Carbide in Bound Brook, NJ for many years before retiring. Mrs. Lazar was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed doing word puzzles and listening to polka music. Mrs. Lazar also loved watching ice skating and ice dancing on television and especially loved the occasions when she went to the Ice Capades with her family. She was loved by her family and friends and will be sadly missed. Mr. Lazar was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew J. Lazar in 1970 and by a grandson Jeffrey Burkat. She is survived by her son Andrew J. Lazar and his wife Lynn of Hillsborough, NJ, her three daughters Ruth Skripko of Virginia, Lenora Dinunzi and her husband Alan of Virginia and Elizabeth Burkat and her husband David of Belvidere, NJ. She is also survived by eight grandchildren John, Brenda, Jackie, Nikki, Walter, Rob, Melissa and Marie and by eight great-grandchildren. The viewing will be on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. The Funeral will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, 8 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9 AM Mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to: American Heart Association, P.O.
