Michael D. Kalinak
Michael D. "Buddy" Kalinak, 83, of Carlisle, passed away Monday (July) at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Michelle M. (Kondertavage) Kalinak of Carlisle, to whom he was married 54 years.
Born Aug. 18, 1933 in Coal- dale, he was a son of the late Michael and Frances (Chabola) Kalinak.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Laurie K. (Bill) Bodisch of Boiling Springs and Michael J. (Natalie) Kalinak of Neshanic Station, NJ; three grandchildren, Addison K. Peters, Matthew W. Kalinak and Samantha W. Kalinak; brother-in-law, Tony (Grace) Kondertavage of Lansford; sister-in-law, Deborah Kondertavage (Robert) Demyanovich of Coaldale; and nieces and nephews, Devin and Adam Demyanovich, Tony Kondertavage, Valerie Horvat, Amy Machay, Cortney Baltrush and Carre McConnon.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and a brother-in-law, John Kondertavage.
Service: Mass of Christian Burial, noon, Saturday, St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, with Rev. Gregory J. D'Emma officiating. Interment, private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Call 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
