Sonya (Sobolowski) Gerhard, 74, of Hokendauqua Avenue, Northampton, died Friday evening,

Jan 15, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.

She was the wife of Russell J. Gerhard since Mar 3, 1964.

Born in Coaldale, Schuylkill County, she was daughter of the late John and

Anna (Mahalik) Sobolowski.

Sonya was employed by the Olseten Staffing Co., Clinton, NJ.

Previously she worked for the American Cyanamid Chemical Co.

Sonya was a member of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Catholic Church, Catasauqua.

Survivors: Husband. Sons, Gregory J. and wife Margaret of Phillipsburg, NJ,

Jeffery N. Gerhard & fiancée Jessica Smith of Easton. 2 grandchildren Shane,

and Ashley. Great granddaughter, Ashley. Sister, Marie Polansky of Jupiter,

FL. Several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by bros, John Jr., and

Walter.

Northampton, PA 18067.
