Andrew S. Keer Andrew S. Keer, 76, of East Phillips St., Coaldale, died Thursday in his residence. He was the husband of Lillian I. (Ruzicka) Keer. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Andrew and Helen (Klick/Glick) Keer. Prior to retiring, he had been employed by CP Lighting, Pottsville. Previously, he had been employed by the Keystone Lamp Factory, Slatington, and Ajax Manufacturing, Collegeville. He was affiliated with St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford. A 1952 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, he attended the Wyoming University for one year. He was also a former member of the Coaldale Lions Club. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Catherine, wife of Michael Papesh of Coaldale, Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Pennisi of Palmerton, and Andrea, wife of Lyle Mantz of Summit Hill; a son, Timothy S. Keer, at home; two brothers, Charles and his wife, Cecilia, and Thomas and his wife, Ann, all of Coaldale; 16 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Christopher Charles Keer and Andrew M. Keer. Services: Call Monday, 6-8 p.m., August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale.
