Joseph Yelito

Joseph "Zorro" Yelito, 76, of 102 E. Jackson St., McAdoo, died Sunday (December 28) morning in the Trinity Mission Health and Rehabilitation Center, Shenandoah Heights. He was the husband of Helen (Pohida) Yelito. They were married for 31 years.

Prior to retiring, he was a custodian for the former St. Kunegunda Catholic Church, McAdoo, and a bartender for the Viennese Villa, Coaldale.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Adam and Margaret (Solarczyk) Yelito.

He was a member of the former St. Kunegunda Catholic Church, now through merger the Church of All Saints, McAdoo, and the McAdoo Fire Company.

Yelito was a 1951 graduate of the former Coaldale High School.

He was a former coach in the McAdoo Little League and for the Valley junior and senior Babe Ruth teams.

Surviving in addition to his widow are a son Adam, and his wife, Danielle, of Somerville, Mass.; two brothers, Edward, and his wife, Joan, of Sugarloaf, and Adam of Gibsonia, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, Alfred and Leonard; and a sister, Mildred Natoil.

The Stanley E. Anilosky Funeral Home, 145 S. Kennedy Dr., McAdoo, is in charge of the arrangements.
