Marion S. Darker

Marion S. (Ritzko) Darker, 85, of 45 W. Phillips St., Coaldale passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Peter Ritzko and the late Elwood Darker.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Marghrita (Yannone) DeFebbo.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Tamaqua.

Surviving are sons, Nicholas Ritzko, and his wife Maria, of Coaldale, Jack Ritzko, and his wife Shirley, of Pottsville, and Joseph Ritzko, and his wife Susan, of Auburn; a daughter, Marianne Cutler, and her husband David, of Coaldale; brothers, Robert DeFebbo and Ronald DeFebbo; sisters, Geraldine Stianche of Hauto, and Marlene Carter, of Ohio; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by death by a son, John; and a brother, Nicholas.

Service: Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. from Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 307 Pine St., Tamaqua. Calling hours Saturday, from 9-10 a.m. at the church. Interment at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Skrabak-Parambo Funeral Home, 210 E. Bertsch St., Lansford.
