James F. Skrabak

James F. "Skrabby" Skrabak, 66, of 205 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, died Friday, July 4th. in his home. He was the husband of Alice (Tracey) Skrabak. They observed their 35th wedding anniversary in May.

He worked for the former Mity Fine Bakery, Lansford, and Roadway, and was last employed by the Vanak Detective Agency.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Francis and Margaret (Tout) Skrabak.

He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Lansford, and the Coaldale V.F.W. Post.

Skrabak served in the Marine Corps for 5-1/2 years.

Surviving in addition to his widow are two daughters, Colleen, wife of Jeff Layman of Harpers Ferry, W. Va., and Denise of Lansford; a brother Frank, and his wife, Lorna, of Erwin, Tenn.; a granddaughter Rose; and several nieces and nephews.

The Skrabak-Parambo Funeral Home, 210 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, is in charge of the arrangements.
