Peter Nevenglosky

Peter Nevenglosky, 76, of 229 Third St., Coaldale, died Monday (December 8) in the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. He was the husband of Mary (Nothstein) Nevenglosky.

Prior to retiring, he was a machinist for Fessler Knitting, Schuylkill Haven and Orwigsburg. Previously, he was employed in the same capacity for Scotty's Fashions, Lehighton.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Peter Sr. and Anna (Matika) Nevenglosky.

A 1951 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, he also graduated from Williamsport Community College and was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

The deceased was a former member of the Coaldale Rod and Gun Club, the Coaldale Sportsman's Club and the Carbon County Penn State Club.

Survviving in addition to his widow are a son, Peter E., and his wife, Jill M., of Saylorsburg; a brother Thomas, and his wife, Josephine, of Gerner, N.C.; and nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Peter and Joseph.

The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, is in charge of the arrangements.
