THANK YOU FROM THE PRESIDENT OF C.H.O.S.E..

Millie Flyzik, the President of C.H.O.S.E., has sent this letter to the attendees of the First Annual Coaldale Tigers Football Symposium:

Thank you for your generous donation to C.H.O.S.E..

We plan many events throughout the year for the children of Coaldale and surrounding areas such as our Mini Olympics, which had its 25th anniversary in August of 2005. Each participant received a Mini Olympic Tee-Shirt and baseball cap. We also gave 6 bikes to lucky ticket holders who were between the ages of 2 to 13 years. We also have a Halloween Party for children and their parents with prizes, games, a D.J., and Bonds for costume entries, Santa at Christmas with presents for all the children and Breakfast in the Park for the adults in June.

Part of your donation will also be going for some new playground equipment. As the years go by, prices go up and it costs more to continue our programs. We have terrific soup sales and other fund raisers, but it is people like you that enables us to have these events.

Thank you again and God Bless You.

Sincerely yours,
Mrs. Mildred Bottomely Flyzik
President, C.H.O.S.E.

A few of the guests have taken the time to send in their comments about the First Annual Coaldale Tigers Football Symposium:

THANKS FOR ALL THE WORK YOU GUYS DID FOR THE SYMPOSIUM. GREAT JOB.”

“My Father and I had a great time! We look forward to the second and all annual symposiums.”

All Speakers and Ed Kassak did a wonderful job. Bob Parfitt was excellent with all facts and statistics, as usual, in conjunction with the great M.C. job."

"Glad to see guys like Ed Kassak get some recognition -- well deserved!!"

“It was a great night. I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”

“Seeing guys that you hadn't seen in ages was worth the price of admission! Not only was the food good but it seemed like there was plenty of room for everyone.”

“You sure can be very, very proud of the hard work you did with the Committee in pulling the Symposium together. It turned out to be more than successful, it was terrific...and, THANKS FOR LETTING US IN ON IT...WE SURE ENJOYED IT.”

Thank you so much for all you did to make the symposium a success. It was a wonderful evening. I really enjoyed seeing folks I haven't seen in so long.”

“I think the whole affair went real well. What a wonderful group of people.”

“It was a wonderful evening. I only hope that it will continue over the years. It was so nice to see folks I haven't seen in decades. And the meeting was as though we had never been apart. It needs to continue, and I will do what I can to help.”

"Just wanted to say thanks and congratulations to...all the committee for putting on a really successful gridiron symposium. I'm sure it was a hell of a lot of work, but the idea was great, the execution was great, and I had a terrific time."

"What a great weekend. I'm so very thankful for all that you all did...Our family sure enjoyed our stay in the Coal regions, a weekend that we will never forget."
