Amelia Matrician of 229 N. 10th St., Easton, and 50 Bull Run St., Coaldale, died Thursday in St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale.
The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Lansford, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Amelia Matrician
Mrs. Amelia Matrician, 73, of 50 Bull Run St., Coaldale, and 229 N. 10th St., Easton, died Thursday in the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of George Matrician, who died in 1996.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Malick) Tomasovich.
She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Coaldale.
Mrs. Matrician was caretaker of Seek Veteran Memorial Garden and a volunteer secretary for Helenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, Easton.
She was valdeictorian of the Class of 1947 of the former Coaldale High School.
The last member of her immediate family, she was also preceded in death by a brother Stephen.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated today in the church. Burial was in Sky View Memorial Park in Hometown, Tamaqua, R.D. Funeral arrangements were handled by the August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 W. Ridge St., Coaldale.
