From the Times News October 12, 2006 Mrs. Margaret E. Schilling Mrs. Margaret E. Schilling, 82, of 142 W. High St., Coaldale, died Tuesday in the Geriatric Center of the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. She was the widow of John Schilling, who died in 1981. Prior to retiring, she worked in the cafeteria of the former Coaldale State General Hospital for 15 years. Prior to that, she was employed by the former Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds, and also worked in the garment industry. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Robert Barron and Margaret (Murphy) Barron Zeigler. She was a member of the First Congregational Church, Coaldale, and the former Coaldale State General Hospital Auxiliary. The deceased was a 1940 graduate of the former Coaldale High School. Surviving are many nieces and nephews, including Margaret, wife of James Sullivan, with whom she resided. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Donald, Harold, George, Robert, Russell, John and Alexander. The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, is in charge of the arrangements
