| Mrs. Christine E. (Zlock) Phillips Mrs. Christine E. Phillips, 70, of the Edgemont Personal Care Home, Lansford, formerly of Coaldale, died Thursday (November 6, 2008) in the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. She worked for the former Coaldale State General Hospital and then for St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in the clerical department. Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth Zlock. She was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are a son Todd, and his wife, Jeannine, of Summit Hill; two daughters, Lisa of Long Island, N.Y., and Christy of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother Charles, and his wife, Loretta, of Doylestown; a sister, Ellie Fignar of Coaldale; and two grandchildren, Todd and Shannon Phillips. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Scott; and three brothers, John Valuch, Dosey Valuch and Eva Zlock; and a sister, Mildred Vilchek. The Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, is in charge of the arrangements. |
