Nicholas Demyanovich Prior to retiring, he had owned and operated a barber shop at 305 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, and the former lehigh Barber Shop, Allentown. He was also a former barber teacher at Schoeneman's Beauty School, Pottsville. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Gulek) Demyanovich. A veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford. A 1937 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Father Henry Baker Council 2711; and the Coaldale American Legion. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Nicholas in Delaware; a brother, Edward of Lake Hauto; a sister, Ann of Coaldale; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Ann, who died in 1947; two brothers, George and Emil; and two sisters, Mary Demyanovich and Helene Wagner. The August M.
