Mrs. Julia Trubilla, 80, of 100 W. Water St., Coaldale, died Tuesday (June 22) in her home. She was the wife of Steve Trubilla. They were married for 59 years.
She was a nurse's aid at the Mahoning Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Lehighton, before retiring.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Hilary and Justina (Petrosky) Boretsky.
She was a member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Lansford, where she was a former pierogie maker.
The deceased was a 1941 graduate of the former Coaldale High School.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Judith A., wife of Edward Kisailus of Amherst, N.Y., Janice, wife of Robert Winsko of Royersford, and Jacqueline of Belvidere, N.J.; two sisters, Frances Zahora of Coaldale and Mary Bobin of Hometown; and three grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister Helen and a brother Peter.
The Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, is in charge of the arrangements.
