Rose Ann (Konski) Daniels

Rose Ann Daniels, 84, of West Ridge Street, Lansford, died Sunday in Coaldale. She was the widow of Louis P. Daniels, who died in 2004.

A registered nurse, she had been employed at the former Coaldale State General Hospital and Gnaden Huetten Hospital. She also assisted her husband in the operation of the Louis Daniels Jewelry Store in Lansford.

Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia (Gural) Konski Sr.

She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Coaldale, prior to its closing.

A graduate of the former Coaldale High School, she was also a graduate of the St. Luke's School of Nursing, Philadelphia.

Surviving are a son, Victor Daniels and his wife, Lynne of Allentown; a grandson, Ethan Louis Daniels; a sister, Valerie, wife of Joseph Lopez of Tamaqua; a brother, Stanley Konski and his wife, Jean, in Florida.

She was also preceded in death by nine siblings.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., Thursday, SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua, with the Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
