Franklin B. Maury

Franklin B. Maury, 82, of Julian, PA. Franklin b. Maury, 82, of Julian, died Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at University Park Nursing Home, State College. Born January 28,1921 in Coaldale, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Franklin J. and Anna L. Gommer Maury. On December 10, 1952 he married Kazuko Nakaya, who survives. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an aircraft fuel lineman at University Park Airport. He was a member of Christ's United Methodist Church in Julian. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Suzanne K. Dooris, and her husband, Michael of State College; three grandchildren, John F, Timothy M. and Megan K. Dooris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gustav Maury. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Christ's United Methodist Church, Julian with Rev. Kenneth St. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery, Huston Township.
