Bernard R. Sabol, 66, Little League coach

MANVILLE -- Bernard R. Sabol, 66, died Friday (Jan. 9, 2004) at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Coaldale, Pa., he was son of the late Joseph and Bertha Sabol. He was a resident of Manville for the past 42 years.

Mr. Sabol was a forklift operator at U.S. Intec in Branchburg for 15 years, retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville.

Mr. Sabol was a past member of the Christ The King CYO. He was a Little League coach and a past member of the MYAL in Manville. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed working around the outside of his house and in his yard.

Surviving are his wife, Helen V. Sabol of Manville; his daughters, Debra Carman of Bridgewater and Carol Sabol of Hillsborough; his sons, Steven Sabol and his wife, Lisa, of Raritan and Matthew Sabol of Manville; his sisters, Dolores Gazo of Powder Springs, Ga., and Barbara Bower of Tamaqua, Pa.; his brothers, Joseph Sabol of Coaldale, Pa., and Thomas Sabol of No. Catasauqua, Pa.; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Ashley, Sara and Matthew.

The funeral will begin 8:15 a.m. Tuesday from the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, followed by a 9 a.m. Mass at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
