Mrs. James H. (Evans) Brennan.................Times New - March 6, 2006 Mrs. Sarah Jane "Sally" Brennan, 72, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Cherry Hill, N.J., died Feb. 26 in the Hospices of Naples. She was the wife of James H. Brennan Jr. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last September.Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Richard H. and Isabel (Watkins) Evans.A graduate of the former Coaldale High School, she earned an associate's degree from Briarcliff Junior College in 1953. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania College for Women in 1955 with a bachelor of arts degree. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority.An avid traveler, she was a member of the Sands Club of Naples and the Royal Poinciana Golf Club.Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Richard J. and his wife, Cheryl, of Yardley and James H. and his wife, Jean, of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Sally, wife of Keith Cable of Geneva, Ill.; and five grandchildren.The E. Franklin Griffiths and Robert C. Reeser Funeral Home, 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, is in charge of arrangements. |
