From the Lehighton Times News dated 26 December 2006 John Warcholak John Warcholak, 78, of 209 N. Eighth St., Allentown, formerly of Coaldale, died Saturday in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Roman and Paraska (Horoschak) Warcholak. He was a member of St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, Coaldale, and graduated from the former Coaldale High School in 1947. Surviving are a companion, Jean Kalam of Allentown; a brother, Paul and his wife, Mildred of Coaldale; a sister, Mary Golightly of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister-in-law, Joyce Warcholak of New Cumberland; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Timko, Alexander, Dimitry and Michael. The Holmes-Griffiths Funeral Home, 200 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, is in charge of arrangements. |
