From the News Times December 8, 2006 Nicholas Padaroff Nicholas Padaroff, 80, formerly of Coaldale, died Dec. 1 in Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. He was the husband of Rita S. (Day) Padaroff. Prior to retiring, he was a plant manager for the Strick Corporation, and also had been employed by Rudco Products of Vineland, N.J. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Jack and Mary (Nosal) Padaroff. A Navy veteran of World War II, he graduated, in absentia, in 1943 from the former Coaldale High School, having enlisted in April of his senior year. Padaroff was a member of F. and A.M. Lodge No. 512, Quakertown, and the American Legion Post 945. Surviving in addition to his widow are three daughters, Barbara A. Padaroff, Jacque L. Margolycg and Donna M. Struke; a stepdaughter, Barbara Watson; a stepson, Robert P. Elliott; a brother George; two sisters, Stephanie Crye and Josephine Hammerl; and three grandchildren.
