Frances Liska
Frances Liska, 75, of 41 W. Lehigh St., Coaldale, died Wednesday in her home.
Prior to retiring, she had been employed in the Nesquehoning area garment industry and was a practical nurse.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Mahala) Liska.
She was of the Catholic faith.
A graduate of the former Coaldale High School, she also attended school for practical nursing.
Surviving are three brothers, William, and his wife, Ann, of Iselin, N.J., Frank of Fords, N.J., and Edward of Edison, N.J.; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother Joseph; and a sister, Stehanie Gans.
The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Stephen Harbolovic
Mrs. Mary I. Harbolovic, 90, of 282 E. High St., Coaldale, died Friday in the St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. She was the wife of Stephen Harbolovic. They were married for 60 years.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Paskosky and the late Rafina (Haluschak) Paskosky.
She was a member of St. Joseph Polish National Catholic Church, Middleport.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister, Kathryn Paczkosky of Coaldale; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Harbolovic in Texas; and two grandsons.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Dr. Richard, who died June 13, 2004; two sisters, Sue M. Surotchak, who died April 17, 2006, and Anne George; and a brother, Joseph.
The Holmes-Griffiths Funeral Home, 200 E. Bertsch St., Tamaqua, is in charge of the arrangements.
