Andrew F. Zwiesdak

Andrew F. "King" Zwiesdak, 65, of 430 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, died Friday (August 4) in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.

He worked at the former Coaldale State General Hospital.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Andrew and Susan (Rudy) Zwiesdak.

He was a 1960 graduate of the former Coaldale High School and was an Army veteran.

He played with the musical group "The Shantones."

Surviving are a brother, Jack, and his wife, Daune, of Summit Hill; a niece and two nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill.

The Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill, is in charge of the arrangements.
