Julia R. Blasko, 77, of 117 E. Howard Ave., Coaldale, died Tuesday in her home.
Prior to retiring, she was secretary at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She also worked at the former Wargo's Factory, Coaldale.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Rozalia (Kollar) Blasko.
She was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Coaldale, where she sang in the choir and was a past president of the Woman's Guild.
A 1944 graduate of the former Coaldale High School, she was a member and past president of the Panther Valley Daughters of Mary.
Surviving are two sisters, Mildred S., wife of Paul Warcholak of Coaldale, and Mary Genits of Lansford; and nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Helen, Anna, Kathryn and Agnes; two brothers, John and Frank; and a nephew.
The August M. Gulla Funeral Home, 130 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, is in charge of the arrangements.
